Situ\u00e9e dans l’exotique Riviera fran\u00e7aise, Maudite Monnaie est une histoire de haine, de trahison, d’amour, de devoir, et de choix terribles et douloureux qui am\u00e8neront n\u00e9anmoins au triomphe personnel.\u2028\u2028<\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

UNE TROUVAILLE DANGEREUSE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2028\u2028Pour l’artiste Gabriela Martinez, la vie est devenue compliqu\u00e9e : elle soup\u00e7onne son mentor et ami de vouloir faire d’elle sa ma\u00eetresse, son mari la n\u00e9glige, et sa derni\u00e8re illustration est ab\u00eem\u00e9e. \u00c0 la recherche de calme, elle se rend \u00e0 son lieu de m\u00e9ditation pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9, \u00e0 la Marbri\u00e8re, la montagne qui surplombe sa maison sur la C\u00f4te d’Azur, mais aboutit dans une clairi\u00e8re inconnue. Elle y d\u00e9couvre une pi\u00e8ce de monnaie fran\u00e7aise de 1945 \u00e0 demi enfouie dans le sol. UNE ACCOINTANCE RISQU\u00c9E<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2028\u2028Richard Harrison, agent du Renseignement am\u00e9ricain, est furieux. Un simple service rendu \u00e0 son patron a transform\u00e9 ses vacances sur la Riviera fran\u00e7aise en une mission infernale. D\u00e9sormais, non seulement il doit d\u00e9couvrir la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 sur cette pi\u00e8ce de monnaie, mais il doit \u00e9galement prot\u00e9ger Gabriela d’un tueur retors que rien n’arr\u00eate.<\/span><\/p>\n

LE TEMPS PRESSE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Avec Maurice N\u00f4ret, du Renseignement fran\u00e7ais, Richard tente de d\u00e9couvrir l’identit\u00e9 du forcen\u00e9, mais son amour naissant pour la belle artiste se transforme en un dangereux handicap. Chacun de ses mouvements est entrav\u00e9 par des contre-attaques f\u00e9roces. Les jeux psychologiques visant \u00e0 terroriser Gabriela \u00e9chappent bient\u00f4t \u00e0 son contr\u00f4le.
